At Queens Beach State School, we strive to provide an engaging curriculum that encourages students to develop as life long learners. Our curriculum is based on the Australian Curriculum. The Australian Curriculum is designed to teach students what it takes to be confident and creative individuals and become active and informed citizens. It sets the goal for what all students should learn as they progress through their school life.
At Queens Beach State School students develop knowledge and skills in eight learning areas:
  • English
  • Mathematics
  • Science
  • Health and Physical Education (HPE)
  • Humanities and Social Science (HASS)
  • The Arts
  • Technologies
  • Languages
Curriculum planning is collaboratively reviewed and updated each term to ensure that units have a strong focus on developing the knowledge and skills students will need to embrace life long learning.
