Overview
At the core of Health and Physical Education is the acquisition of movement skills and concepts to enable students to participate in a range of physical activities – confidently, competently and creatively. As a foundation for lifelong physical activity participation and enhanced performance, students acquire an understanding of how the body moves and develop positive attitudes towards physical activity participation.

At Queens Beach State School all students from Prep to Year 6 participate in weekly specialist Physical Education classes. We provide a comprehensive program with an emphasis on developing the gross and fine motor skills of our students as well as building their physical fitness levels. Additionally, students are encouraged to access the wide range of opportunities that Queens Beach State School offers in their chosen sporting area.

School Sporting Houses

The school is divided into two Sports Houses – Dalrymple and Sinclair. The house names derive from famous explorers from the local area - George Augustus Dalrymple and Captain Henry Daniel Sinclair.
Dalrymple – Red

Sinclair - Yellow
