Welcome to Queens Beach State School

Queens Beach State School is located in Bowen - the climate capital of Queensland in the Whitsundays which is reflected by our lush tropical gardens. While our school has grown progressively over the past 5 years to nearly 500 students, we have kept the friendly ‘small school’ feeling that families value.

Our core learning priorities are to improve achievements for all learners particularly in reading, spelling and writing. We require high attendance levels as every day counts in a child’s learning journey. We nurture the whole child and therefore offer opportunities ranging from sporting activities to instrumental music programs. We also have a Kindergarten, Outside School Hours Care and Vacation programs on campus.
